“Leadership is not promised, born, or inherited. It is chosen, practiced and created.” As coaches leadership is integral to our work. Where can you grow as a leader? How can you inspire leadership in others? Join AC in welcoming our own Mark Hunter to speak on leadership and the release of his new book The Brink: How Great Leadership is Invented. After climbing mount Kilimanjaro in 1999 Mark was inspired by how this experience was confronting in ways that were unanticipated. The metaphor of the climbing a mountain offers us a great opportunity to understand the journey of being a great leader.
Mark will speak on:
– The urgency for leadership, “Today’s world is suffering from a gap in leadership.”
– Choosing and inventing leadership in the moment
– Being committed to leadership and adopting an attitude of “doing whatever it takes to get there”
